UbuCon Asia, which started as an online event in 2021, is now in its third year. This year’s event was held in Surakarta, Indonesia, and was a joint event with LibreOffice Conf Asia, making it a much bigger event than in previous years. I participated in the organizing committee for this year’s event as well as last year’s, but last year’s event was held in Seoul, so I was mainly part of the local team.

FOSSASIA Summit has been held online in past few years due to COVID-19, but this year, the event has been held in-person finally. I participated in the online event last year as an organizer and worked in the marketing team and the video team. But, I couldn’t participate in this year’s FOSSASIA event as an organizer. Because when the FOSSASIA team was built this year, I was so busy a few weeks ahead the UbuCon Asia 2022 event in Korea and I didn’t even know the team was being created.

Jammy Jellyfish 릴리즈 노트 서문 우분투 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish)에 대한 본 릴리즈 노트에서는 릴리즈에 대한 개요와 우분투 및 flavour에서의 알려진 문제들의 문서를 제공합니다. 지원 기간 우분투 데스크톱, 우분투 서버, 우분투 클라우드, 우분투 Core의 유지보수 업데이트는 2027 4월까지 5년 동안 제공되고, 나머지 모든 flavour에 대해서는 3년간 지원됩니다. 추가적 보안 업데이트는 ESM (Extended Security Maintenance).를 통해 지원됩니다. 우분투 22.04 LTS 받기 우분투 22.04 다운로드 가까운 지역에서 이미지를 다운로드 할 수 있습니다.

안녕하세요, 원래는 연말이 되면 송년회 행사를 하면서 한 해를 돌아보거나, 작년 같은 경우는 온라인으로 연말 행사를 진행 했었는데요. 올해는 따로 연말 행사를 하기엔 시간적 여유가 부족해서, 간단히 글로 대신 돌아 보고, 내년 초 신년회 행사때 2021년에 한 활동을 다시 한번 돌아보는 시간을 가져 보고자 합니다. 우분투한국커뮤니티에서는 올 한 해도 다양한 활동을 진행 힜습니다. 올해 처음 열린 우부콘 아시아 2021 (UbuCon Asia 2021) 부터, 오픈소스 컨트리뷰션 아카데미 등 다양한 활동을 했는데요, 각각 어떤 활동이였는지 간단히 알아보겠습니다.

우분투한국커뮤니티에서 긴 시간 동안 활동하시며 커뮤니티에 많은 공헌을 하신 송현도님께서 2020년 1월 20일 오전에 별세하셨으며, 1월 22일 오전 6시에 발인하였습니다. 커뮤니티 활동 초기와 대표 활동 시절 송현도님은 우분투한국커뮤니티가 만들어졌을 때부터 꾸준히 활동해 오셨습니다. 2014년 4월 커뮤니티 대표로 선출되셨고, 1년 동안 우분투한국커뮤니티와 오픈소스 생태계의 발전을 위해서 기여해주셨습니다. 커뮤니티 대표로 활동하시는 동안 당시 프로그래밍이나 리눅스에 관심이 많은 10~20대분들이 커뮤니티에 많이 참여할 수 있도록 도움을 주셨고, 이는 커뮤니티 핵심 구성원에 변화를 주어 커뮤니티가 활성화되는 데 큰 영향을 주셨습니다.

It was also the first seminar since the Daejeon team was organized.
